Castle Club

Castle Club is situated in the Nursery Unit of Someries Infant and Nursery School and is open every morning and afternoon throughout term time.
Morning Sessions

Morning sessions run from 7.45 a.m. until 8.50 a.m.
The cost per child per morning session is £3.50.

Children have a choice of healthy breakfast cereals, fruit juices and fresh fruit as well as toast, bagels, muffins or crumpets with jam, marmalade, honey or marmite. Milk and water are always available.

After breakfast, children can join in a range of activities, including games, creative crafts, or simply enjoy a chat with friends. A range of computer equipment is also available for use, including games consoles and iPads.

Children attending Someries Junior School are taken to school by Castle Club Staff and are signed for by a member of Someries Junior School staff. Children attending Someries Infant School are escorted to their respective classrooms.

Afternoon Sessions

Afternoon sessions run from 3.15 p.m. until 5.00 p.m.
Castle Club operate two sessions to accommodate children engaging in extra-curricular activities in both Someries Infant and Junior Schools after school:

  • Session One runs from 3.15 p.m. until 4.30 p.m. at a cost of £3.50.
  • Session Two runs from 4.30 p.m. until 5.00 p.m. at a cost of £1.50.
  • Alternatively, both sessions can be booked at a cost of £5.00.

At the end of the school day Castle Club Staff collect children attending Someries Infant School from their classrooms. Children attending Someries Junior School are escorted to Castle Club by a member of staff. Where required, children are collected from their extra-curricular activity and are escorted to Castle Club.

Bread and butter, fresh fruit, milk, water and fruit juices are always available throughout afternoon sessions.

Children can enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities, using Someries Infant School's two playgrounds, equipment and apparatus.

All Castle Club staff are fully qualified and DBS checked.

We accept employer childcare vouchers as payment as well as direct payments.

Booking Forms can be downloaded below. New members are required to complete registration forms prior to attending Castle Club.  Please remember to notify the Junior School Office when you book your child into Castle Club.
